This is the original Devil Girl Electric Guitar the production model was based on. The Devil Girl was created by famed artist Chris Compston for ESP right here in N Hollywood CA. The production models were done overseas from the molds Chris created.

The neck is stamped Korea with one serial number, the back plate is stamped with a different serial number.

She has some scuffs, some small paint repairs and stuff here and there. I didn't notice any chips or anything major. This lil Devil is a heavy guitar but I do not have a way to weigh it because of the odd shaped body she wont sit on the scale. It does have a full ESP warranty however the finish is not covered by the warranty but it does cover the electronics, playability and functionality of the guitar. Please consult the ESP Warranty for more details.

The production guitar was originally released in 2003 in limited numbers.

Features:

  • Bolt-On Construction
  • 25.5" Scale
  • Maple Neck
  • Rosewood Fingerboard
  • Volume
  • Black Hardware
  • 22 XJ Frets

This one measure out to 25.5" scale, the production model was 24.75" The inlays on the fingerboard and the headstock is a bit different than on the production model. This guitar is painted, the production model is not painted but made of some synthetic material.

This is a truly unique collector piece for the serious ESP fan. Here is a photo from the ESP Japan archive showing this same exact guitar at the 2002 NAMM Show.
