It is a sample/preproduction guitar. ESP makes the samples to test out various colors, finishes and to show to dealers prior to the actual model being built. They take them to shows like NAMM and start taking preorders for the new years model. Some Samples are never made into production models.

I think this is a 2008 - 2009 model, both years have the same specs. As this is a Sample/Prototype some of the specs on the guitar might be a bit different than on the production unit.

The guitar was just set up again by ESP techs at the N Hollywood location but it has a few minor pinholes and scuffs/scratches in the finish. Nothing that I dont think would polish out except the pinholes. They are not obvious and I wasnt able to capture them with the camera.
