This is not the common KH-602. It is a KH-600, I only know of 2 of these. It is a sample/preproduction guitar. ESP makes the samples to test out various colors, finishes and to show to dealers prior to the actual model being built. They take them to shows like NAMM and start taking preorders for the new years model. Some Samples are never make it into production models.

I think this model is what became the KH-602. This is bolt on neck the production model has neck-thru body construction. I am 99% sure all the hardware is all the same as the KH-602. I think everything is the same except the name and neck construction. ESP Tuners, FR Bridge and EMGs The PUPs have changed over the years on the KH-602 from 81/81 - 81/60... and the bridge has changed from original to 1000 series and so forth.

This guitar has got a set of EMG 81/60

As with all our sample/prototype guitars, they are all tested (not used) and in 100% fine working order. Straight necks, no sharp frets or buzz. 

It is pretty neat. I am not sure if this was an export only model we didnt get in the states or if it was just a concept guitar that evolved into the KH-602. If you have any information to share please let us know as we would like to know more about this mystery axe.
