Nile formed in their hometown of Greenville in 1993. With their self-proclaimed trademark of "Ithyphallic metal", Karl Sanders (guitar/vocals), Chief Spires (bass/vocals), and Pete Hammoura (drums) debuted with their Festivals Of Atonement EP in 1995, leading Nile to a southwestern tour in support of other big metal acts such as Obituary, Deicide, and Broken Hope. Designed in close collaboration with Karl Sanders the Dean "The Black V" offers several unique features not found on most Dean instruments. This 25 1/2" scale V has a solid mahogany body, flame maple top with matching flame headstock, a set mahogany dual octave neck with deep scalloped pau ferro fingerboard. Its V shaped neck profile, 14" fingerboard radius and frets make playing virtually effortless. This is a no frills guitar, boasting one high output Seymour Duncan Invader bridge pickup, Grover tuners and no onboard controls to get in your way. Just plug it in and go!
