The SR650 is a handsome 4-string bass designed with the working musician in mind. At the heart of this bass is an Ash body, chosen for its bright, articulate tone and long sustain. The SR650 sports a 5-pc Jatoba/Bubinga SR4 neck and a Rosewood fretboard, embedded with elegant Abalone oval inlays. An Accu-cast B300 bridge provides excellent string vibration transfer and precise intonation.

For electronics, the SR650 features Nordstrand CND pickups in a classic P/J combination, a versatile setup almost indispensable for the working musician. Specifically designed for Ibanez, these passive pickups deliver a very present tone that easily punches through any mix. Equalization controls include a 3-band Active EQ with a bypass switch for precise tone management. "
